We opened in 2015, after both of us had spent years in authorised service centres. The rule there was that a faulty board gets replaced, not repaired — that's how the manufacturer accounts for it. It is indefensible technically and nonsense electronically, so we opened a workshop that does it differently.
We don't repair what we can't stand behind, and we don't sell a repair that costs more than the machine is worth. If the screen goes on an eight-year-old laptop, we'll say so — you may still want it done, but you shouldn't find out from us afterwards.
