Services
We do four things. What we can't take on, we say so, and point you somewhere worth trying.
What we repair
If it isn't on the list, call anyway — we'll tell you whether it's worth bringing in.
- SRV.01
Laptops and boards
Won't start, won't charge, freezes at random, runs hot. Most of these are repairable at component level; it takes time and a microscope, not a new board.
- Charging circuit and power rails
- Recovery after liquid damage
- Hinges, casing and screen replacement
- SRV.02
Phones and tablets
Screen, battery, charging port, water damage. We use original-grade panels, and we say so when a device is no longer worth repairing.
- Screen and battery replacement
- Charging port re-soldering
- Ultrasonic cleaning after water damage
- SRV.03
Data recovery
A clicking hard drive, an SSD that won't be recognised, a stick formatted by accident. We always clone first and never work on the original again.
- HDD, SSD and memory cards
- Encrypted volumes too
- No data, no invoice
- SRV.04
Business maintenance
For offices of five to fifty machines. Quarterly cleaning, thermal paste, drive health reports, and a loan machine for as long as yours is with us.
- Quarterly on-site check
- SMART report on every drive
- Loan device during repairs
Common questions
What does the diagnosis cost?
Nothing. We look at it and write down the fault and the price. If you don't want the repair, we reassemble it and you take it home — still free.
How long does a repair take?
Diagnosis is 24 hours. The repair itself is typically two to four working days if the part is in stock; if it has to be ordered, we tell you up front.
Will my data survive?
For board repairs we don't touch the drive. If an intervention does carry risk, we say so beforehand and will take a backup on request.
Do you take machines still under warranty?
We do, but say so first: opening a device under manufacturer warranty can void it. In that case we usually suggest going to the authorised service first.
Not sure whether it's worth it?
Send us the model and what it's doing. We'll tell you roughly what to expect before you set off.
